Scholarships & Financial Assistance
Focus of the Foundation
The Noyac Foundation provides scholarship awards and financial assistance for:
- Higher education at accredited colleges and universities
- Vocational and technical training programs
- Professional certification programs
- Self-improvement courses
- Assistance in repayment of qualified student loans
- Online and in-person programs
Who Qualifies to Apply
Eligibility Criteria
- Must have worked at Noyac Golf Club for a minimum of 2 seasons (or be in your 2nd season working at Noyac Golf Club to be eligible).
- For degree programs — a minimum GPA of 2.5 for currently enrolled students, with the same to be achieved by new students.
Approximately 120 staff members and 50 caddies and their dependents could be eligible:
- The House — Restaurant and Kitchen staff
- Maintenance — Grounds, Engineering and Facilities staff
- Golf Operations — Assistant Pros, Golf Shop and Bag Room staff
- The Starter and Caddies
- Administration — Finance and Member Services
The Application Process
The Foundation publicizes the timeframe for accepting applications from staff and their dependents, along with the date by which decisions will be made.
- Each applicant receives acknowledgement of their application and a written determination once approved or not.
- Application forms are available online and can be printed or completed online. Required documentation can be uploaded or submitted as hard copies.
- All applications are reviewed individually and handled on a case-by-case basis.
- Consideration for awards includes the applicant’s circumstances, the amount requested, and the overall financial resources available within the Foundation.
- Scholarships and financial assistance, per IRS guidelines, are paid by the Foundation directly to the school, professional organization, or financial institution.
